Global Remote Services (GRS), an outsourced contact centre vendor who operate multiple centres in Bucharest, Romania have announced that they have opened a sales office in The United Kingdom.
GRS provide a call centre, web chat and email support to a large number of companies across Europe in a multitude of European languages. Romania has become a hotspot for multi-lingual call centre operations due to the proliferation of Italian, French, German & English speakers. A number of British companies have already outsourced to Romania and the trend looks set to continue due to its low cost base and access to well-educated call centre agents. It's not unusual for Romanians to speak 2, 3 or more European languages so it has become an ideal location for companies looking to centralise European operations. Romania is also an ideal location for companies looking to service the smaller European countries due to the availability of languages such as Dutch, Portuguese & Greek. Romania's accession to The European Union has further bolstered interest in the country's outsourcing industry.
Established in 1994, GRS has become the major independent outsourcer in the country and has been growing over 30% annually. Earlier this year, GRS opened a new state of the art contact centre in Bucharest with further expansion planned to deal with current client requirements. The company prides itself on the fact that 75% of its client base is with companies who have worked with them for over 4 years.
The UK Office is the 3rd sales office for GRS in addition to their bases in Italy and France.
