Kenya is the 3rd largest offshore call centre location in Africa. Its colonial past means that English is widely spoken. Costs are also on par with many other offshore locations.
Kenya’s industry is relatively small compared with those in Asia and even compared with South Africa. Very few international vendors are based in Kenya. Kenya is also a hub location for many other countries in Eastern Africa. Its reputation as a stable location has been dampened recently due to a number of terrorist attacks but it is still popular among some.
