The Global BPO Forum is the premier membership organisation for senior executives of Global 1000 institutions to discover innovative strategies for Global Sourcing of Business Processes and Services. The main focus of the forum is to increase the effectiveness of leaders within member organizations through shared information and experiences. To that end, we provide an engaging platform for practitioners of Global Sourcing to share perspectives and experiences, discuss with peers any items of interest and provide solutions to common problems through discussion groups, seminars and workshops.

In addition we provide best practices research, executive education, and member case studies – all designed to assist members with current business challenges and to help members avoid reinventing the wheel as they address problems that have been shared with their peers.

One of our recent initiatives is our partnership with London Business School to present a series of colloquia that will bring together a select group of thought leaders from business, policy and academia to take stock of what we have learned about managing services off-shoring. The first Colloquium on ‘Managing Services Offshoring' was held on 3rd March, 2005. Subsequent colloquia will focus on specific questions raised in the first, with research-based inputs informing the discussion. These series of colloquia will aim to confront the burning issues of the day from the world of practice with cutting edge research from academics.
